I’m currently in the process of re-doing my room, and right now I’m stuck on deciding which color to paint my walls. The trim is going to stay white, but I just need one color to paint all four walls with. My furniture is made of pinewood, and is similar to the shade 
of the panels in the link. The blanket on my bed is purple, blue, pink, and green in a block-like pattern that is almost mosaic. So far, my decision is leaning towards painting my room a toned-down version of lime green, such as the one in my blanket. I think that the light green will visually make the room look larger, while the brightness of the color will also be fun and happy, just how I want my room to look. What do you think?

Yes, I think choosing a room color is important. Not only does it enhance the effect of the room, but it affects the mood of the people in it!
I totally agree with you. Choosing a room color, and even the different furniture, is a very important decision. I redid my room about two years ago. I had to pick out all new furniture and a new comforter to match. I chose my favorite color purple and also white for my furniture colors. It was a tough decision, though.
I completely agree with this, I've been trying to re-do my room for quite some time now, but I've had trouble picking out furniture and a color for my wall. I'll always see stuff that I like, but as a whole it doesn't work.
